This unique 15th-century Tudor house is of great architectural interest. Queen Elizabeth I held court here twice. The garden has a partly walled moat, walled garden, ponds and water features. Inside the house the Great Hall has a fine oriel window, a staircase tower on the north side and a fine open timber ceiling, partially exposed, in the south wing.
Music, dance, poetry, story telling, street theatre, food, art, children’s activities and more. And it’s free!
