Well, it's Good Friday and it's bright and sunny in the north of Colchester. Not as warm as we would have liked, but at least it's dry, and is forecast to be dry for a couple more days.

Hylands House runs regular adult workshops and courses, ranging from patchwork, stumpwork, silverwork, cookery and various equine activities. I decided to take part in the three week blackwork course that was held recently, wondering if my embroidery skills were up to it!
