The Swan is beautiful 14th Century inn, located in the shadow of the majestic Chappel viaduct, which is a pretty unique piece of landscape to have at the bottom of your beer garden!
Audley End House came up trumps again this afternoon, with a special event whose highlight was eight mounted cavalry charging up and down beside the river.
After a morning cycling round the countryside doing the Tour of Tendring, a relaxing afternoon was the order of the day, and we picked well in heading off to Layer Marney Tower for their mini beer and music festival.
