Clacton Pier and Big Wheel
Just a quick mention of a short trip we made to Clacton. Ours was a flying visit, just like the planes that were due to come for the Clacon Air Show a couple of days later! We made the most of our time though, walking through the crowded pier, which children and families enjoying themselves on the wide range of activities on offer.
The log flume looked particularly popular, but we decided we were just a bit to old for that, so we went on the Big Wheel, which we’d been meaning to do for some time. It was great fun, big enough to get great views, and open to the elements to get some fresh air, and the cage was just wobbly enough to add a bit of wobbliness to the experience.
And of course, a cone of chips and some Tubby Isaac’s seafood as a treat afterwards!
