Guardian Full English in Essex

Posted on 26 September 2009 by Mark Watson

Today’s Guardian has another ‘Full English’ supplement produced in association with EnjoyEngland.com, highlighting things to do in England.

There’s a piece from visiteastofengland.com which looks at cycling in Essex, which is online here. We’ll be featuring cycling routes and walking routes in Essex here on Essex Days Out in due course.

There’s also a feature by Dave Newham on hidden gems in England which you can read here.  His 10-minute visit recommendation is Wilkin and Sons (which we covered a few days ago), Mersea Island and the Company Shed (we’ll be reporting from there soon), a night out in Felixstowe, and a day trip to Audley End (we were there a few weeks ago, and had a great day out).

The online version of the story doesn’t repeat the mistake in the print version, which has a picture of St. Botolph’s Priory which is mis-attributed to being Colchester Castle!
