Perrywood Garden Centre, Tiptree.

Explore nature through a range of activities at our Garden Explorers sessions. Activities range from pond dipping and scavenger hunts through to getting creative with nature in art workshops.

Activities are suitable for children aged 4-10 years and include:

25th and 26th July 2018 – Good bugs and bad bugs – children will be learning about pests and beneficial bugs in the garden

1st & 2nd August 2018 – Art Workshop with local artist Lisa Temple Cox – Children will make a ‘Box of natural curiosities’

8th and 9th August 2018– Weird and Wacky plants – We will learn all about carnivorous plants, unusual succulents and make a miniature garden

15th and 16th August 2018 – Pond Dipping and senses scavenger hunt –with Lucy Willis from the Essex Wildlife Trust

22nd and 23rd August 2018 – Making art out of nature We will spend the time outdoors if the weather is good, exploring nature and getting creative
