There is a new festival called Resorting to the Coast in Essex for 2018 celebrating the seaside towns of Clacton, Walton on the Naze, Frinton, Jaywick Sands, ad Harwich and Dovercourt.
There will be lots of events happening throughout 2018 and 2019, all focusing on the fun and laughter of a traditional British Seaside Holiday.
As part of the festival I will be leading two different Heritage Walks celebrating the towns of Clacton and Frinton, and their place in peoples happy memories of traditional seaside holidays.
The walks will take place on the following Sundays: April 1st, May 27th, July 29th and September 16th. The Clacton walks will all start at 11:00am form the Venetian Bridge, and he Frinton walks at 2:00pm from the Frinton railway gates.
The walks are free, but must be booked in advance by emailing firstname.lastname@example.org
So join me to remember long summer days of deckchairs, sandcastles and boat rides in Clactonn, and jolly tennis matches and afternoon tea in Frinton
