For coach groups of all kinds a trip to Constable Country on the Essex/Suffolk border is a great day out, and Blue Badge Tourist Guide and Essex Days Out founder Josie Watson can accompany your group on their day out.
This is where the landscape artist John Constable painted many of his most famous paintings including ‘The Haywain’ and ‘Boat Building on the River Stour’. It is part of the Dedham Vale Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and at it’s heart is the beautiful River Stour.

Flatford . Owned by the National Trust, this is where you can visit Willy Lott’s house, little changed since Constable painted the iconic HayWain. There is a small museum in Bridge Cottage, plus a National Trust shop and tea room.
