Haydn: Nelson Mass

Chelmsford Cathedral

Saturday 28th October, 7.00pm

Join the Royal Choral Society, the London Mozart Players, four superb soloists and conductor Richard Cooke for Haydn’s magnificent Nelson Mass – so called because while Haydn was composing it, Nelson was busy defeating the French navy in the Napoleonic wars. The concert includes two of Handel’s coronation anthems and Mozart’s sublime Symphony No. 29.
