National Mills Weekend

 

Pre-COVID we used to look forward to the National Mills Weekend each year in May, when a wide range of mills were open to the public. Some mills were open on other days throughout the year, other were much less easy to get into! 2022 sees a return of the National Mills Weekend, although clearly many organisations supporting the mills are struggling to get back on an even keel. Here is our list of Essex mills, with links to articles we’ve written folowing vistis, and links to their websites.

Alderford Water Mill, Sible Hedingham

Beeleigh Steam Mill, Maldon
