Suffolk Walking Festival 2018
The wonderful Suffolk Walking Festival takes place from Saturday 11th May to the Sunday 2nd June 2019. It’s not in Essex (obviously), but some of the walks take place very close to the Essex/Suffolk border, in the Dedham Vale and in the villages and towns along the Stour Valley such as Clare, Long Melford, Sudbury, and around Stratford St. Mary and Nayland.
There are walks for everyone, from short rambles to longer challenge walks.
It’s one of my favourite events of the year – I look forward to it throughout the long winter months.
